Saturday was the trip to Montreal! We got all ready and headed out early… I think it was about noon, but it might have been later! Matt and Adam drove the Pontiac, while Marc and Tony picked up Will in Marc’s Mazda. It was raining pretty steadily. About 10 minutes out of Ottawa Adam noticed his oil pressure gauge registering 120 PSI. It normally reads just above 40 PSI, so it was a bit concerning and they stopped to check things out. Oil level looked good, nothing looked broken! Hmmm… a quick call to Adam’s dad to confer about the subject, and then they took off again for Montreal, at 120 PSI and KMH!
Matt doing his best leather impression.
It was raining when we arrived at the hotel in Montreal. We got all checked in and headed out for a quick walking tour and to grab some lunch. We went to this great restaurant that Marc was excited about for their lentil hamburgers.
The food was great and the waiters were cute! We got on the retro metro and headed off to see the BioDome, which is in the old Montreal Olympic Village. They were scheduled to close in an hour by the time we got there and we decided that the $14 was a bit much for the hour so we walked around some more and took in more of the sights of Montreal.

We returned to the hotel and started the alcohol flowing. Will decided he was hungry and we all decided it would be a good idea to eat something before we headed out for the night.
Cuddling in the hotel room.
After the strip club we decided to head off to Parking. Standing in line we found out there was $20 cover. We lost Cameron there as he was all about Parking, Tony, Adam and Francios headed to Sky. We met back up with Matt and Marc on the way over to Sky. They have $1 shooters at Sky and Matt was determined that we would all stumble home! So we started out with 2 shots each. About 30 seconds thereafter we did 2 more each, deciding it was necessary to reach Matt’s previously stated goal! Off to the dance floor for more dancing, of the dirty type, which Adam seems to enjoy and drag everybody into with him!
Then we had more shots. And more shots. And more shots. And of course more dancing. We met more friends of Marc’s, Thiery, we think? But at that point, he was just another cute guy to dirty dance with!
At some point, maybe around 3AM we decided to head home.
A quick stop at McDonalds to satisfy an urge Matt had, resulted in us all waiting for 30 minutes for food. So we stumbled home around 4AM, at least that is when Matt, Marc, Tony and Adam arrived at home.
Will came back a little bit later…with company!
When we woke up sometime later that day (Sunday), it was just the 5 of us again. We headed out to the old French section of Montreal. It was amazing! It felt like what I imagine a small village in France might feel like! We found a breakfast place that Matt used to eat at with his Grandfather and got surly service but at least is was slow! The food was good, just what Matt’s hangover ordered! After breakfast we said our goodbyes and Tony and Adam headed south!
